X’s Lightwave’s Elevator Pitch. Lightwave Logi
Post# of 871
Oh a recent Lightwave patent takes the light at the end of the silicon waveguide and instead of attaching fiber can direct it 90 degrees through/around the chip, (forward looking for computing, check mate) . Investors should understand that these patents for the most part cover all high performance polymers so that even if someone else finds a slightly different polymer the performance of those polymers in a device puts them under the control of these patents, comprende? Huge!
Michael Lebby is a prolific inventor and has over 250 patents; he is working with Fred Leonberger who many credit with today’s current technology. I have been to the lab a few times and as you can tell am not technically savvy, but I try.
This is Star Wars stuff and you can add all the buzz words like Green to it, it is a must for Artificial intelligence (AI) and 5G (5th Generation Mobile Network) because 1 person can cram 50 times more data into a data center.
CHEAP, FAST, EFFICIENT, GREEN.
Look at what has happened in the past 5 years, we are Controlling our heat, watching our dog, ordering our food from the fridge, calculating directions with traffic, all while watching 4 different movies in the same vehicle on the trip, answering the doorbell, and doing our banking at the rest stop.
In my opinion a company like Amazon Web Services AWS (Did you know that Amazon makes more money from it Web Services/Data Centers that selling and delivering goods to you house?) Also companies like Google or Intel would love to have the IP/Patents Lightwave has in place, who knows what they have applied for but Haven’t told us, look for a Small Partnership type deal followed by a takeover. Not sure when or who but the world has a huge problem and this company has the solution.
“Lightwave Logic’s modulator roadmap starts with 50GHz modulators which is already faster than the~35 GHz used in the newest 100G and 400G Ethernet formats and coherent DWDM modulation schemes. 100 GHz modulators with 2 V drive have been demonstrated”
“Fabrication of devices from polymer uses deposition and photolithographic patterning techniques and equipment that are well established from older semiconductor fabs. They can also be added—literally on top of—devices made on InP, Si or GaAs to make hybrid photonic integrated circuits (PICs).”
Lebby has a patent on polymers that at 1 volt can do away with the drivers which is also a big Deal, remember it doesn’t matter if someone comes up with a slightly different Polymer, read the patents.
Think of the uses of Gore-Tex, this is bigger than that.
This is my understanding could I be wrong, most certainly.
If it makes sense then it is probably true.
Xster Been A while since I sat down and hammered one of these out. Please Excuse the typos
