Pausing the HIV deal makes sense in case they’ve been approached for a BO.
Any party interested in taking Cydy over would not like the existence of a HIV licensing agreement for a product that could be a treatment for many other and different diseases. Makes things far too complicated. Better buy without such a licensing agreement being closed.
Could be other (even more benificial) deals are in play too, then a pause would make sense.
NP did say he could sign the HIV deal now. So it’s upto Cydy to close it or not. It seems like it’s not in the hands of our potential partner or that the potential partner walked away.
