Odd that you would refer to an IQ test in a post where the points obviously eluded you.

Of course there are Dems And GOPERS in all states, however Red or Blue States are defined by how the preponderance of voters in those States vote.

No one describes AL or MS as Dem States nor does any one describe CA or NY as GOP States. Neither do righties on this board ever point out that there are Republicans in Chicago or SF.

Endangered species to be sure, but one can drive though their communities and observe their presence.

THE points were how many conservatives vote against their own interests, THEIR SNAP benefits, THEIR Medicaid. Also, how so many of them rail against Blue states even though more money flows from the GDP generated tax revenues in those States than is paid out by the State they live in.

i realize that cognitive dissonance, facts that contradict beliefs, is painful. But there it is.

Dismissing the obvious hunger problem concentrated in those orange areas on the map, which ARE concentrated in the Red State South and SE, with 'so let's buy a can of spam', is what I've come to expect for what passes for conservatism in this country.

Ask the farmers and grocers whether or not SNAP benefits are the decent thing to do, the smart economic thing to do, or both.
