Let’s start at the beginning with this comment of yours. If you own 100 shares @ $.60 and you get divi and you then own 200 shares @ $.30, prima facie that is the same thing right? The problem with your reasoning is the resulting capital structure. IF done the way it was intended, the divi will increase the value of your shares because of only roughly half of the outstanding shares would be getting it. 200 shares @ $.30 of 67 million outstanding shares is more valuable than 100 shares @ $.60 of 45 million outstanding shares, regardless of the pps cut in half. Simple proportions.
