Vanguard attracted $141.2 billion in net cash inflow through December 2012, including $52.2 billion in ETFs -- an industry record (according to Strategic Insight data). This strong cash inflow propelled Vanguard's U.S. fund assets to over $2 trillion. Vanguard CEO Bill McNabb marked the milestone by thanking clients for their continued trust and loyalty to Vanguard.
