If CMF buys 2M restricted shares from GNBT for $5M, then GNBT buys $5M worth in the open market (probably at least 2M shares with that $5M), then GNBT can use those 2M+ shares to make the non due bill shareholders whole. Net effect would be 2M +/- shares more in the float.
