A little closer to home...MRK has an average daily volume of 5,197,044 for the last 90 days.
For the sake of making an easy calculation, let's say the average price per share was $85. It's above that now, and I called it, lol....but that's another story.
For the last 90 days the average dollar amount traded was roughly $441,748,740 per day. For the entire 90 days the amount was $39,757,386,600.
More money than many can fathom coming into and out of the stock markets every day. We just need some of it to be focused in our direction. These prices will be unheard of once that happens.
