My thoughts: THIS IS MY OPINION NIT ADVISE.
Regarding CMF There are multiple issues here. They signed a waiver for the div but were willing to cover it for the shares they sold with shares they held. Sounds fine but for the entire 3-4 months of the lock up period they cornered the market on liquidity. There were plenty of buyers at the right price so they could control it by when and if and how many shares they put on the market. Regardless of if you now grant all of the waivers the div you can’t give them or any retail investors back that opportunity to sell or the time we now have to wait to reach our milestones. Remedy is not as simple as issuing the div. This has caused undue delay to uplist and other significant events as well as created uncertainty around the company in general. Investors large and small may think twice badgers may feel justified or emboldened.
S1) We know the potential $ amount but I think what the caller was trying to get at was how much dilution will this cause? How many shares are being added to the float for this registered offering.
NGIO I still believe this in addition to the funding via S1 is most important. Value to shareholders by way of NGIO shares we already received. Value to GNBT in form of cash from offering.
Altucell) I think this will be the future. It will make a huge splash one day. Hopefully within 2-3 years.
AZ) not much was said other than funding will help fulfill the buildout. This should be a constant revenue stream along with the MSO / HMO
Olaregen) valuable assets and ready to launch. It is a game changer in terms of technology. Getting it into market is key. I can understand joe avoiding making projections on sales without funding. If you are under funded you tend to stomp out fires as they pop up. Tough decisions have to be made on where funding goes. If funding is complete and he does not give projections then I will worry. Think about Oralyn if GNBT was fully funded to complete the trial would Pfizer have been interested in that as opposed to the company they bought.
These calls are brutal and I don’t know how joe does it. Same questions over and over. I give him full credit for keeping this call giving the situation and knowing it was not going to be an easy one and for hanging in until there were no callers in the que.
The situation sucks but we’re in it and in my opinion there is no way to fix the dividend situation. You can’t force CMF to buy back the shares. From who and at what price. You can’t turn back time. There are other variables that affect the market you can’t go back and reset all of that too. GNBT and all of the waiver parties and all of us had a reasonable expectation that all of the waivers would be honored. You cannot put a price on what the other waiver companies have lost because if they all flooded the market with shares the price would have dropped quicker and lower. So credit goes to the parties that saw the decline and didn’t bail. Whether for fear of a lawsuit or just out of honor they hung in.
I don’t think anyone could have logically seen this coming and I think the result is we are hugely undervalued but I think with the S1 and NGIO we’ll be back in no time. Then Joe can fulfill the dividend. GLTA.
