A lot of longs/investors here have talked about helping other people when the ship comes in, here's a little story of one way to do it.
There was a old man selling corn on the side of the road: A lady asked him, 'How much are you selling the corn for.
The old man replied .25 an ear.'
She said to him, 'I will take 6 ears for $1.25 or just leave.'
The old man replied, 'Come take them at the price you want. Maybe, this is a good start because I have not been able to sell not even one ear so for today.
She took the corn and walked away feeling she had won. She got into her fancy car and went to a fancy restaurant with her friend. There, they ordered whatever they wanted. They ate a little and left a lot of what they ordered on the table. Then she went to pay the bill. The bill costed her $45.00 She gave the cashier $50.00 and told him just to keep the change.
This isn't really a big deal but it sure was to the old guy selling the corn
'My Dad used to buy stuff at our store(not big things) from people at to higher prices I thought, an he didn't even need the stuff, Sometimes he even used to pay a little extra for it. I was young and got a little confused by what he was doing so I asked him why he did it, That's when my Dad said, "It's charity wrapped with dignity.
This I have always remembered and have tried to do it all my life when the opportunity came up.
Not that I'm rich or my Dad was, we were far from it but we were in just a little better shape than they were.
I guess my true point is help anyone anytime you can whether UNVC blast off or not, it sure feels good when you go to bed at night.
