Tornado Risk, 60 MPH Gusts: Pre-Thanksgiving IL Hi
Post# of 123755
Reminds me of a joke Al Franken told David Letterman some years ago. "Dave, do you know why Minnesota is so windy? Some people say, not me mind you, but some people say it is because the Dakotas blow and Wisconsin sucks."
A high wind warning has been issued for Wednesday, and 60 mph gusts are expected.

The weather service said winds will be 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 and 60 mph. You can expect the winds to blow down trees and power lines, and power outages are expected. Travel will also be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles on north south roads.
