The FDA's repeating of their stance on CBD infused

There are still many nutraceutical supplements out there that have actually shown fantastic benefits when taken in certain doses, but they haven't been verified via FDA approved labs to include interactivity and high dose research. Cannabis is being handled with kid gloves for a multitude of reasons, and I'm sure that "quid pro quo" could be found to exist here as well if it were to be seriously looked into. Big pharma influence is a no-brainer.
Again, that's the FDA covering their asses which is to be expected, and it's actually a good thing for all of us because a lot of hacks are trying to cash in on this business now. It's not just responsible companies like RMHB trying to provide healthy products and fact based guidance to consumers.
The hacks could be outright lying about sources, extraction methods, purity, etc. They also have recently loaded the market with hemp supplements for which they're making super high dosage claims. I don't care what nutraceutical supplement you want to talk about. More simply is NOT always better, and can even make you sick or even dead.
The push for extensive research is good for all of us, but in the mean time, a little common sense can go a long way to keep people from harming themselves with some snake oil imported from China. The hacks see big profits and don't care if their foolishly irresponsible efforts to cash in on those profits harm consumers or the CBD market due to the negative backlash that'll result from it.
As a result, the FDA's current stance on CBD infused foods and beverages is kind of a "necessary evil" that we should not be overly concerned with as investors because there's a huge amount of pressure on them to take the steps necessary to obtain the research they need to provide fact based guidance.
According to the Hemp Round Table, the research is being done and preliminary safety guidance is near or maybe even here already, but that isn't complete guidance, and the FDA won't publish or "sign off" on CBD infused foods and beverages publicly until they have enough clinical research to back their official guidance. That won't stop all consumption of certified, high quality CBD at moderate doses.
It reiterates the value of the RMHB/CBD Life deal. The Mexican government, as well as certain European governments, are content to rely on what research they already have to go on, including the blessings of the World Health Organization (WHO). We can see RMHB grow by leaps and bounds in Mexico and Europe even as massive retail distribution in the U.S. progresses slowly pending extensive FDA research.
Nevertheless, the fact that RMHB is on the Hemp Round Table and working closely with the FDA is a major plus. As a result they'll be staying well inside of the FDA's preliminary guidance, allowing them to engage in retail distribution in localities willing to permit it based on that preliminary guidance.
