By that logic, auto manufacturers should be held liable for the misuse of the vehicles they make, especially every time someone gets behind the wheel drunk and kills someone. Walmart and other retail outlets should be held liable for the misuse of all the product which they sell. For that matter, lets hold Cogosense liable for potential misuse of this product ever time it is not used or bypassed and results in an auto accident death.
Because the supreme court needs their heads extracted from places not meant for the human head, does not mean that their decision makes for good precedence or law. But by all means, lets direct our anger at the manufactures and not the jackasses that misuse the products for their own evil purposes. So, No, not even kind of the same thing.
