I know BL noted the CROI embargo policy, but I don't believe this will keep Dr. Sacha from independently publishing his work and being able to discuss before CROI. Reading this policy it seems more to keep companies from PRing data before presentation to build up hype. They also have a material information exception clause:

“Material information” exceptions: Publicly traded companies that determine that they must disclose general findings of a research study to be presented at CROI in order to satisfy US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requirements must notify the conference organizer at CROIabstracts@iasusa.org and provide a copy of their release and their distribution plans in advance. Such releases may include only general findings (not the full data to be presented at the meeting) and may not reference the Conference or the presentation by name.

Additionally, looking at previous CYDY CROI presentations, there was little to no new information presented during this conference (i.e. last year was the first time the presented completed combo HIV results, but most of the data was presented and updated many times before times before this presentation). I'm not saying that BL is wrong, but maybe that CYDY can't or won't discuss Dr. Sacha's work before he officially releases these results or publishes his paper and can't advertise as a plug for CROI. Secondly, it seems silly to keep any significant results secret simply based on an annual conference presentation which would be required to be disclosed if it meets the SEC 'material information' requirements. JMHO
