LEARN TO LOVE THE DANDELIONS: A man who took great
Post# of 85484
In life we will always run into people that we really don’t “click” with; people who are difficult and who have different values than we do. It’s inevitable we’re going to encounter people we just can’t seem to get on the “same page” with….and rightly so. However, even those we have a hard time liking need to be treated respectfully and kindly. Perhaps we need to remember that God loves us despite our weaknesses and imperfections. Just because we don’t like someone, doesn’t mean that God doesn’t love them. When we look at others through this lens, it’s easier to see the person God created, rather than the exasperating person they have become, and loving those we don't care for can become a bit easier.
Jesus said it better this way in Matthew 5:44 & 46: “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.” ……………“For if you love them who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?”
Some people consider dandelions an annoying weed that they must get rid of at all costs. And others love them in spite of their unpleasant traits.
