I watch unchecked anger every day on TV. I also, sadly, read unchecked anger on message boards. I work every day in the industry so I know what Mr. Berman is going through. Frankly if I had to manage KB's shareholder base I would never invest my own money. Buy shares, yes, but not put my legacy or retirement money in DECN when I see that no matter what the CEO does, he is trashed for it. If I were KB I would pay the staff severance and then walk out the door, middle finger extended. You don't like what KB is doing, stop whining and complaining on a message board, come in and replace him.
I invest in companies. I do well in some, I break even in others, I even lose money. But I never point fingers over and over and I never get out of control angry. So, the truth is, I am not the one who has lot perspective. I have been married for 38 years and I have learned how not to get angrier and angrier or point fingers if I don't get what I want or expect.
