Because we are not trading on fundamentals. We are trading on sentiment. Some maybe have stopped believing, some who bought at the lows are bailing before they go red, the div was confusing to start with with the record date and pay date months apart but now it has been pushed once, some may feel it will be pushed again due to pps, some may believe it will be cancelled. Joe has stated otherwise but if you are betting your hard earned dollars on a guy you’ve probably never met how far are you willing to let it ride.
I will say it again, they MUST go through with the dividend regardless of pps. And the must successfully spin/list NGIO to NASDAQ. If they do I believe all will be good. If they fail on either of these we may reach new lows before turning it around. I still don’t think it would be a death sentence but we’d be measuring expectations in years rather than months.
