Has anyone looked at the amount of deals prior to

Has anyone looked at the amount of deals prior to amount of deals after an issued 10Q? From what I can see more deals are made after the issuance of a 10Q. As it then gives the purchasing company 3 months to justify. I’m wondering if this is what is happening as all of the larger companies are now issuing earnings and 10Q’s. I just get the vibe from the 10Q that management is not worried and knows they have something in the works.
