Oh, let's just give the old chap more time, because hey, we don't want to consider the possibility that he screwed up the deal and it isn't actually happening, and we could be broke before all of this allegedly wonderful data creates an organic rise in SP."

We are cutting him waaaaay too much slack, even if things end up ok in the end. Hey... I COULD handle your capital murder case since I am an attorney, but since it's not my specialty, I'm really not the man for the job, no matter how confident and "arrogant" I appear to be.
