Several wrecks have been located when the only purpose was to study the layers of Earth beneath the seabed.

Now a novice might go after a Spanish Galleon, but real salvors know Spain will lay claim to the vessel and any chance of getting a finder’s fee is somewhere between slim and none.

If your looking for treasure only, try using a sensor(s) that detects non ferrous metals.
