AAM, I totally get the sleep deprivation thing.
On a personal note, my parents split when I was 12. started feeding myself, doing my laundry, etc. from that day forward. And started working looooonng hours. At one point as a young adult, I was working to back to back 8 hour shifts, ( driving a truck and working a graveyard gas station gig). Then on weekends, I worked two jobs. I slept 2-3 hours a day.
I had a loaded shotgun in a gun rack directly over my pillow to help prevent certain people from waking me prematurely. My father spent many years in hospitals, I had rented out rooms to pay the mortgage.
Now I own my own business. I can sleep on command. My wife, (bless her heart) homeschooled our three kids.They are either in college or working full time time making good money. Or both.
My wife likes going to a lot of church functions at night. bro, after 8-8:30 it's time for me to start hibernating!
I get my sleep for sure now....then some. Not crazy about the time changes, I wish they would pick one and leave it alone.
Long rant, but this opportunity in front of us will change my family's future for good. I am certain of it. The good Lord has kept me breathing this long miraculously. The waiting is rough for all.
I am going to stick it out. GLTA and have a GREAT weekend everybody!
