QMC is small in number of employees. It would be hard to hire and train enough company employees for all those clients, and would be a high cost.
By licensing and royalties strategy, QMC has very low cost for each employee and clients even will pay for the reactor.
This strategy allows QMC to engage with many companies at the same time and expand without heavy cost investment. All risk is on the side of the lisensee. Squires strategy is using clients to do the work so he can handle many opportunities at the same time.
