Maybe this is not "legally" correct but what I was trying to imply is that a commercialization agreement simply says: here is the drug, you go and sell it and give me 50% of the money you get.
In a partnership you take the drug and participate in the costs of developing it into something else; i.e take Leronlimab and let's do the NASH trials and the various Oncology trials together, costs shared as such and such and profit shares like this and that.
For example: Arrowhead has a partnerships with Amgen (cardiovascular disease) and Janssen (Hepatitis ; they gave Arrowhead what they wanted modified (by inhibiting the expression of a specific gene) and, if they (arrowhead) succeed, they will be paid royalties previously agreed.
In a partnership, CYDY will give whomever Leronlimab and they will fund and carry out the necessary research (if required) and trials to get the product to market sharing profits.
