As expected, a big nothing burger at the 6 week mark in regards to getting a deal signed. An after hours PR seems unlikely. Unfortunately I’ve been in CYDY so long that I actually enjoy nothing burgers and regularly try to order them at local restaurants.
NP: “Good evening, I’m NP, your server here at Restaurant CYDY. What can I get for you?”
CYDY Investor: “I’d like a burger with all the fixings, to include a financing deal.”
NP: “Oh, I’m sorry, we’re out of burgers and financing deals, but like the sign outside says, we’ll have something really soon.”
CYDY Investor: “That signs been there for weeks and I was in here back in 2015 and got the same answer. Do you guys have appetizers?”
NP: “We do have appetizers, but those also aren’t ready. We have a nice NASH soup on the way, a mTNBC bloomer that’s nearly out of the oven and a PReP salad that will change your world, soon.”
CYDY: “Ok, ok. Can I just get something to quell my thirst in the short term?”
NP: “Oh, I’m sorry, our refrigerator and beverage system are just coming online so we only have water. But if you turn your attention to the tv on the wall here, you can watch a very informative video of what our restaurant experience may be like in 2 weeks - 2 years. Thanks for stopping by and here’s your bill.”
CYDY Investor: “Wait, I’m getting a bill but didn’t get anything in return?”
NP: “Well, like you said, you’ve been here since 2015 and continue to return. We can’t keep our doors open if customers don’t provide us with support here and there. Don’t worry, I’ll get you an IOU because we’ll be worth as much as McDonalds (Humira) in the near future and that IOU is good as cash.”
CYDY Investor: “What just happened?”
NP: “See you next Friday for brunch, when I’ll be discussing potential new additions to our menu and maybe even new partners!”
