Following Tri Cascade’s 3 Year Partnering Agreement with T-Mobile, Tri Cascade Has
Engaged with The City of Rancho Santa Margarita for NB IoT Outdoor Air Quality Beta
Program
Dear Shareholders, October 30, 2019
Following our milestone 3 Year partnering Agreement with T-Mobile USA, I had previously advised that
TriCascade has created innovative an NB IoT Outdoor Air Quality Monitoring Device, powered by T-
Mobile, that provides real time 24/7 air quality monitoring data transmitted through a Certified T-Mobile
SIM card located within the device. I am now pleased to further advise that we have successfully
deployed this device as a beta project with the City of Rancho Santa Margarita, Orange County (a city
adjacent to Irvine, CA). We have partnered with the City to enable the City to deploy NB IoT technology
in the United States to monitor outdoor air quality in this fashion.
City Manager Jennifer R. Cervantex for the City of Santa Margarita says “We are proud to partner with
Tri Cascade in this first beta deployment of their outdoor air monitoring system. We are excited that the
City of Rancho Margarita has been chosen as the pioneer this new technology. Our City is committed
to providing our residents with the safest and best air quality community in California. The system will
greatly help us in the monitoring of humidity and temperature conditions for fire risk, as well as helping
us monitor noise and potentially dangerous Co2 emissions, should they arise. In this beta test, we are
deploying the air quality monitors in three strategic locations throughout the City and intend to provide
public access to the monitoring of air quality through a direct link to be provided on the City’s main
website page.”
Max Li, Tri Cascade’s CEO says “It has been a delight to work and partner with everyone in the City of
Ranch Santa Margarita’s office. City officials have recognized the urgency of continuing to monitor
outdoor air quality and we are thrilled to be able to provide them with our T-Mobile powered device. We
hope that other cities will follow in the steps of Rancho Santa Margarita as we deploy these vital devices
throughout the nation”.
