Post elsewhere stated the opinion that LocustWalk was possibly engaged to help properly value a deal or deals, not to start over or initiate the deal process since management has already noted being in advanced stages of negotiations. Logical thinking, IMO. Dr. Bertolino, with his background and employment history, has probably networked well as far as science knowledge to potential suitors is concerned. Maybe LW has been brought in to help "close the deal"?
