I give mgt a lot of credit for knowing, and accepting, that they needed help such as Locust Walk will provide.
Pretty well shoots down all the BS about Leo being a power megalomaniac trying to do everything himself. I am sure Dr. B was instrumental in guidance per this matter.
In the case of OM, I am of the opinion that this will stop some of the BS that has been going on in taking so long for a major partner to sign up and they will realize it is time to put up or shut up as Locust will be shopping this golden opportunity hard and fast. Am expecting a very good deal for OM and a MAJOR good deal for IBD when the pill shows it is both safe and effective.
As to the case of the recent Crohn's failure for a major in their clinical trial, the numbers IMO show something/somebody tampered with the trial in a very major way.
When you are looking at a revenue stream in the tens of billions per year, there is no level of corruption that is beyond those elements that work on the dark side. I fully agree a placebo population in a trial is total BS when they have historical data to see what the normal cure/remission rate is for many, many medical conditions/problems/diseases/etc.
Makes the waiting a whole lot easier knowing a full effort is being made thru a well recognized company with lots of experience in exactly the market we are trying to penetrate.
