I agree. Much has happened that has layered the complaint in truth, but I already know, and you may be thinking, that the Senate GOP will hang their hats on any shred of doubt to exonerate Trump, including process which they are bitching and moaning over.
Ultimately, I don't think it matters what the witnesses say, as we saw today, when a GOP rep said it doesn't matter what Taylor said, as they will fall lock-step with Trump and party over Country.
I started shifting away from this ideation of the Republican Party once I saw the rampant cronyism, corruption and sycophancy which has lowered their intellectual bar to the preexisting condition suffered by the large majority of their base.
