I think you answered your own question. The water IS becoming clearer (i.e. the NBA deal is only several days away) but the mood is not really becoming darker, it's just a temporary eclipse to give the illusion that the company's future is getting much darker. The posters on Ihub (i.e. Grip, etc.) are trying to convince everyone that the deal doesn't really exist or isn't going to happen any time soon so they can drive the price down and accumulate shares for pennies less, aka a "poop and scoop". We all know he's accumulating. And he attacks mgmt because he can't attack the science. He and the other black clouds wouldn't be here if they weren't trying to manipulate the sp and accumulate cheap shares prior to the PR. I don't think anyone in their right mind would be shorting this stock at this low price, and especially given that we're expecting a binary PR any day now. Have you noticed how Grip and the others immediately jump on anyone that posts anything positive? And Grip is constantly ragging this board because it's too positive (i.e. doesn't help his agenda)? It's nothing more than greed, I'm sad to say. I know there are many longs on this board that are honest and frustrated, and they're legitimately concerned. But for Ihub, I know it's difficult, but just ignore the noise.
