Look at it from the number of dollars perspective.
The 12B AS less the already used OS of 2.8B (round off to 3B to make it easier) leaves 9B available AS shares.
9B times current pps of approximately .002 gives the company $18M to play with
If they know good news will soon raise pps to .005, then they have $45M to play with.
If they think good news will take pps back up to .01, then they have $90M.
And a pps of .02 will give them $180M
What can they do with that kind of money?
Or it could be, as Mark says, just to cover the convertible notes.
I am waiting to see what the good news is still to be announced this month yet.
