I’m learning too Hylander. I learned a new term today. Buy side settlement. I had purchased some VIX shares yesterday and saw that GNBT dropped under 2 today. Wanted to pick up more shares so I sold the VIX for a small gain and tried to buy GNBT but couldn’t. Called TDA and it turns out that it takes 3 days for a BUY to settle. So even though I got a fill notice for my sale today the buy yesterday hasn’t cleared. Odd. I guess I’ve never bought and sole that close together before. Maybe it time to enable margin trades.
