The Hemp Extract label is merely a play on words just as it was for HEMPd products sold on Amazon. Hemp extract is cannabidiol (CBD) when taken from the entire hemp plant, especially the buds/flowers.
They were given the nod to proceed with that label until the FDA provides guidance. Very wise marketing. All that remains when that green light is flipped is to change one little detail on the labels from that point forward.
They won't go where the political atmosphere is toxic, but anywhere that gives the ok for alternative labeling that's relatively inconspicuous, HEMPd beverages infused with CBD (Hemp Extract) will be marketed there.
On the other hand, they did say previously that at some point they planned to market Rocky Mountain energy drinks infused with hemp seed extract. That'll probably be right on the heels of the HEMPd drinks, especially since they can be distributed everywhere without any issues.
