Joe, I am not trying to be argumentative here. A PR that came out from GNBT stated there would be a 1:1 dividend given to shareholders and also that there would be a formula that would be used for that dividend of 60/69, you take the share price, divide by 60, multiply by 69 and you get what the price of the shares overall will be.
My question was, how is GNBT going to ensure that this will happen and we won't see an issue like we just saw with the retirement of the stock last week and we don't see this as OTC treating it just as a stock split and not a dividend?
I read up just now on what the definition of a stock dividend is and this actually looks like a common practice among many companies, where they give out stock instead of cash as dividends. They use percentages of 5%, 10, 20%, anything above and it is like a stock split in the share price does get dropped, which is what we would see with the formula being used anyway, so that will be expected. I read that the company has to do internal accounting practices, but do you know if that info gets passed to OTC ahead of time to make sure they know what the heck is going on, so they don't mess this up for you / us?
I and all of us appreciate everything you and your team and everyone who has given up eveything for the sake of the shareholders. I look forward to hearing more good news coming down the pipeline and thank you for all that you do.
