Yep, chasing events, trading, following others tips, hot money, etc. are indeed a big part of why ~95% of all traders lose money. Not only lose, but bust out their entire account. Alternatively about 1% -2% are really good at it, and make consistent money.
CTIX is a good hold IMO, but a risky trade as that takes timing and nobody can read the future. one can be trading CTIX for a nickle, and miss a dollar or more move.
Or trade out of CTIX to chase something else, then bust out and not be able to buy back. Meanwhile CTIX holds its value and potential for much higher value.
I can only decide for myself of course, to each his own. My preference is to have a full position while the fundamentals and potential remain so strong for CTIX. That way I don't have to time or predict any one news or material event. I could lose, but I accept the risk having done extensive DD and calculated the amount of money I'm willing to risk.
What is not an acceptable risk to me is to be out CTIX and in XYZ and then wake up one morning and CTIX had a massive spike. But that is just my personal plan, not advise to anyone else.
