Long Post for Investors (redflix S4E16) Funny,
Post# of 32642
Funny, after the year I've been posting and putting "for investors" in the title, shorts, flippers, liars and BWers can resist.
Disclaimer at the top, disclaimer the bottom for those that check those things
One investors journey and the only one that document everything
Music, flix and some DD
But I guess without the other island of lies, there would be no story?
Maybe a "pro company" board will be their redemption?
Hold that thought...
“A company's path to success can feel like a series of events and accidents. Yet if you look back, you'll a pattern to every successful company.”
- redspeed
Close to 400 startup companies I've posted, are now valued at over $1B
What was the pattern to get there?
You heard me talk about patterns before
I see patterns is almost everything
Nature, people, conversations, writing, coding
Success has patterns too
I can't predict the future like others can, but I can help you see patterns
To do so, step back 4-5 years for whatever you are trying to see
Look for some familiar names
You heard me talk about Slack before so maybe start there
I think they beat earnings by $5M recently but took a bit of a dive
Down 40% this year
Taking a Dive?
Wait for it
Wait for it
Wait for the ambulance chasers, they will be there shortly
Maybe because people caught on that their ticker is WORK?
Maybe businesses that buy a tool like Slack want to slack off and not work?
Is there a list of 100 BWers on a board bashing WORK for a living?
Hmmm, I checked. No
Dang did someone post that they duplicated everything that Slack did with another 1000 lines of code?
No one would be that stupid to make a public claim about Slack like that without getting their ass sued
If one "flipper" can get one firm to fall for the Oracle PR thing and then have 30+ copycats
Then any company get can sued on anything
Let's pause there for one second to talk about the trading patterns that were documented there. Seems to sell and make money. Now why would you sell if you were bought into the whole Oracle PR hook, line and sticker?
Not for me to judge or decide. I really don't even understand the complaint and don't think it has any merit but what do I know as a individual investor?
I once was selling a house FSBO and did an internet search
Surprised to see the person involved in another case so I declined their offer
They really wanted the house, but there were other buyers so why take a chance as I spot patterns
Why couldn't VERB have a similar letter that is posted here:
https://investorshangout.com/post/view?id=5545257
Maybe they already have sent a letter about the libelous claims and chose to keep it private?
Maybe that is why some are worked up?
I don't know
Maybe, VERB didn't do a letter and just maybe, they are taking it a step further?
As I said, I don't know the future, I just see patterns
I see patterns of companies done with the social corruption
Would like to see a pattern of every OTC company doing the same
Just a reminder
The owner was convicted and went to jail
Not sure everyone comprehends that part
Who in their right mind supports that?
Oh yeah, redemption
Hold that thought just a little longer
Back to DD already in progress...
A review of the private tech companies globally that broke the billion dollar valuation mark in 2014.
https://www.cbinsights.com/research/billion-d...tups-2014/
38 Companies?
Really?
Didn't I just post about 10 times as many for 2019?
Patterns
Look at each of them if you want
Check out what happens to them
Do they turn over and die, get bought out or continue to grow like Slack despite the concerns.
Watched the first season of The I-Land
What if you were stuck on an island, but didn't remember who you were or got there?
What if it all started coming back to you?
What if this was your last chance for redemption?
Interesting show...
