The only explanation that makes any sense at all to me is that the market feels the retirement was already priced in and that if adjustment is warranted the free market will sort it out
Personally I am baffled. It is simple math and could have easily been handled Monday after hours when the OTC recognized the retired shares.
My only concern if it does not adjust up at some point is that when the div is issued the share price WILL go down. That will be like getting kicked in the nuts...twice.
