If what you’ve been mentioning is public information, then please, share it with the board. There is no problem sharing it here if you found it on google, Facebook. Newspaper article, etc.
Otherwise, do not make empty claims, especially ones regarding a patient’s life. No, the doctors probably didn’t expect the patient to survive for X more months because of her diagnosis, but stating she had passed without presenting facts is inappropriate. Send someone a PM with the details if you can.
