Few observations:
VERB is the only public company of the bunch that I saw. Average Joe usually doesn't get the opportunity in investor in a startup. Average Joe can invest in a public company like VERB.
Some of these companies are phone dialing type solutions. Ones that have something more unique do better.
Company that don't have funding or can't get funding seem to make enough to pay employees and I assume, have a little profit left. Those are the companies as Rory said, the CEO can go sit on a beach or drive a fancy car, but maybe that is it
Takes funding to grow a company quickly as we are now seeing with VERB. Sure beats $2M of revenue annually for the next 10 years
Take a look at who invested in some of these companies. Clari as an example.
Sequoia, Bain, Northgate etc. You think they are worried Clari only had 200 customers last year and who knows how they even count that.
Let's see, what else is happening...
Non-Deal Roadshow
Insiders set up to buy VERB on a schedule
VERB still hiring as recently as this month
New Learning app coming
Direct Sales Fall season of conferences in full swing
I still love ice cream
Not so much bologna
I hear...
"Big things are coming!
Buckle up!"
