From a friend:
It seems reasonable to me that if you recognize a bad deal before you sign the papers, you either try and renegotiate failing that, you bail before its too late. We've got a great product line in the Actipatch family and frankly I'd hate to see us give it away just to make a deal. Not all deals are good deals even if they include a large company like CVS. We all would have loved to see a deal with CVS but it has to be a win/win and this one wasn't.

I don't see the logic in setting a bad precedent by selling Actipatch at little to no profit. You can argue that it'll get our name out there and you'd have a point, but at what cost? Eviscerating current and future profit margins? Do you think people are going to be want to pay more for Actipatch at Walmart, Walgreens or Rite Aid when they can go to CVS and get it much cheaper? Probably not. So that means BIEL would likely have to make similar bad deals with every new customer. I don't like that idea when I know the Actipatch product line is fantastic and when, I believe, Keith has us on a trajectory for cutting much better deals with companies just as big if not bigger than CVS. Okay, so its taking a little longer than if Andy would have just settled, set a bad precedent and gutted profits. I think he made the right move and got out of the way of a bad deal before it was consummated and put us in a weak bargaining position for future deals.
I believe long time investors would prefer to wait a little longer and realize maximum profits rather than peanuts. I'm invested in BIEL for the long haul and I see massive potential here in exponential sale growth, MASSIVE! This isn't 4-5 years ago when BIEL was hemorrhaging money with no real light at the end of the tunnel. This isn't the minor leagues anymore, we've stepped up our game and have been called up to the Show! I'm continuing to buy shares and patiently waiting for that first precedent setting homerun followed by win after win after win. Years and years of hard work are about to payoff big time for team BIEL and I want to be a part of it, do you?

Actipatch and BIEL...Get Summmm!!!
