I believe Wall street looks at the market cap as the value of the company. Not the shares authorized by the board. Market cap is the number of shares available for the public to trade (float) times the share price.
The market cap for Generex did not go down overnight. So if the float is reduced, the share price must be adjusted to show the same market cap.
We'll see what happens. What's the use of retiring the 20M shares otherwise?
