Strictly from a personal point of view (and aside from my investor position) my great hope is UNVC get to market first - if for no other reason than to disrupt the existing Big Pharm monopolies and their toxic hold on the healthcare and insurance systems in this country.
If Big Pharm make headways first, nothing will change in the industry as a whole other than the nature of the medicine being provided - they will still set overbearing and restrictive prices and will still make ridiculous profits, all to the detriment of the customer or patient being treated.
I wear many hats and work / consult with many types of organizations: healthcare networks, hospital groups, biotechs, biosciences; and also have many clients within both the medicinal and recreational cannabis sectors - I can see how well they COULD work together, but I truly fear that in the wrong hands it may just be more of the same.
