USAF KC-46A tanker now restricted to not carry passengers or freight.
This is a severe limitation which denies the ability to act as a Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) carrying groundcrew and spares on deployments of aircraft also being refueled.
This reinforces - yet again - my assertion that any contractor with an MRTT fleet - $TMPS is the only significant one (apart from Airtanker UK dedicated to the RAF) is pretty much guaranteed work until the KC-X / KC-Y / KC-Z replacement plan is complete in 25 > 50 years time.
