ohm20: Correct, it is a statement of intention of terms in negotiating, but there is always something that triggers those terms to BECOME binding at some point, as they are negotiated terms that will become part of another agreement. Otherwise, there's no point in entering into a non-binding agreement if you just have to start negotiating from square 1 all over again. Why waste time signing an agreement that states "Hey, if things go well, let's talk!"
