The actress moved out of her Manhattan apartment after her landlord threatened to evict her, according to reports.
Sources say the actress was being asked to leave the building because of complaints that her apartment reeked of marijuana. One source added Bynes was even spotted smoking in the building’s hallway.
Because she had broken the rules of the non-smoking building, Bynes was told her lease would be terminated. She decided to move rather than dispute the claim.

Last year, Bynes was arrested on suspicion of DUI and she was accused of a hit and run.
