Other ways to have fun with money: Have a drink in a bar and buy the entire bar a drink. Tip the cashier at the grocery (or whatever) store. If you live somewhere with parking meters, get a bunch of quarters and top off all the meters on an entire block. Buy something from a street vendor and pay with a $100. After he struggles to find correct change say "keep it". Go out of your way to buy something from the kid's lemonade stand ....and then tip the kids. Bring a bunch of coupons to the grocery store and look for people with those items and give them the coupons. I once gave a lady a coupon for a free dozen eggs and it brightened her right up, couldn't thank me enough.
Another thing we can all do is support local farms. Shop at farmer's markets. Get to know your local farmers and buy their food!!!! I live in the sticks, so it easy for me, I have farms all around. So for people in areas where there are no farms, buy the local varieties of things rather than the imported. Plan trips to farms, bring some friends, and stock up on whatever you use that they sell. If you eat meat, seek out a farm that sells 1/2 or whole animals. For beef, 1/2 is probably enough. But most of these meat farms use natural feed, no antibiotics or hormones, and the meat is delicious! They often let you choose how long you want the animal to hang (age) before it's cut. They also cut, wrap, and freeze everything for you according to your preferences.
