TWENTY PLUS YEARS and STILL a PENNY STOCK!!! What positives can you think are the reasons a PENNY STOCK can remain in existence for TWENTY PLUS YEARS? Is someone or some few somehow making money from this PENNY STOCK? How could that be? Unless one buys hundreds of thousands of shares and then quickly sells the shares at even a small profit, there is little to gain. At around one cent/share, it takes a sizeable stock purchase investment to make enough profit to buy a cheap meal IF the share price increases at least 25% AND the investor can sell tens of thousands of shares all at one time it is almost conceivable that a few dollars are made. Who could possibly have the huge number of shares to buy and sell for so little profit? Let's see....if one has several hundred thousand shares that were purchased at less than a penny and the share price goes over a penny and hundreds of thousands of shares are sold, then there is a little profit made. Of course, historically, the share price has gone back down. Someone with a huge number of shares could establish a sell price higher than the current ASK price. MAYBE one of his/her friends will buy several thousands of shares at the higher price and the new price is the base for other investors to dump their money into the PENNY STOCK. Going back to the ORIGINAL owner of the HUGE number of shares....s/he sold XXX number of shares and made a small but nice profit so he then dumps ten thousand shares on the market for a fraction of a penny and his friend(s) buy at the lower price. A few weeks later, the ASK price is back to almost twice the former share price. There were no Press Releases to indicate activities at the company were stimulating product or process growth or profitability, yet the share price increased. How could that happen? It may be possible to review the history of a company that has been in existence for a long time and has had the ups/downs of its share prices documented with graphs, etc. Of course, informed investors do follow a certain protocol to determine the legitimacy of a company....at least one could hope this is true!
