Kenneth Grant is responsible for a variety of support service functions at The Johns Hopkins Hospital:
Linen Distribution
Reprographics
Nutrition Services
Materials Management
Patient Transport
Mail Services
He is also responsible for Corporate Purchasing, the Materials Distribution Center and Community Health initiatives for the Johns Hopkins Health System. He oversees in excess of 600 employees responsible for carrying out these important functions. He also has oversight for the procurement of goods and services totaling in excess of $1.0 billion.
Ken has his undergraduate degree from Tulane University and his master’s degree in management (MSM), from the University of Maryland. He is a Past President of the Baltimore Chapter National Association Health Services Executives. He serves on the Executive Boards of Historical East
Baltimore Community Action Coalition, Baltimore Chamber of Commerce, Goodwill Industries, Broadway Services Inc. and Humanim. He is also a member of the Maryland Hospital Association Executive Committee and is current Chair of the PRIME Board.
Over the course of his career Ken has been recognized for his contributions to the health care industry and local communities by receiving the following awards:
