I was a fan of RP’s, but I will say success in research / academia doesn’t always transfer to the business world. If RP was such a business dynamo he could’ve parlayed prostagene (sp?) into a big cash exit. To that end, while his resume is impressive is there even one example of business success leading to wealth creation?

Only saying that advanced degrees and research papers may not translate into execution and that may have been the rub.
