I agree Plavac, this is quite possible. The BLA submission (and approval) will be the statement of CYDY: "we are here and can't be ignored".
GILD has a “down slope” road ahead if they don’t boost their HIV pipeline quickly. Apart from the TAF line (patent protection only until 2022 and earlier in the E.U.) all the other drugs are in phase I with exception of GS-9131 (a NRTI), in phase II for resistant patients.
Can you imagine a “Biktarvy” kind of drug with Leronlimab qualities ?? . Would be a blockbuster. GILD could take Leronlimab and make it rapidly a wonder drug with the resources they have.
In any case, without GILD, CDY has a positive future. If GILD does not “smell the coffee” somebody else will. All this IMO.
