On this eve of what could be a like-changing event, I have a few thoughts. First, dont be obsessed by the bashers and flippers-they will get their due either now or later. After we have all bought our new homes and cars and helped our families, turn your thoughts to others, Jesus commanded us to help the poor and sick and afflicted. When you buy that new car, instead of trading in that old 2010 SUV like I have, give it to some poor family who drives an old beat-up clunker with slick tires and barely runs. Plus a tax write-off. If you see a single woman with 4 young children buying groceries in Wal-Mart, step up and pay for their food for her. You do not have to be a Mother Teresa or African missionary to help those right in your own home town. When we stand before Jesus on Judgement Day, and we all will whether you believe it or not, He is not interested in your bank account. He is interested in what you did with what He blessed you with. As for me, I will not be ashamed of what I did-hope you wont either. God Bless us all. JB
