Bored Lawyer: Speaking as an attorney myself, I c

Just because RP doesn't get along with NP or like his style (again, I am not a fan either), doesn't mean his lawsuit has merit.
As an aside, I disagree with those who say "NP is doing a great job because without him, we would not be where we are now." If someone better and more qualified was in charge, we might be in a much better place faster. Maybe not. But to give him all the credit is to not see the bigger picture. I COULD handle a capital murder case, but as that is not the kind of law that I practice, I would suggest a client get someone more qualified because again, while I COULD do it, that doesn't mean I am the best attorney for the job. NP is what we have, and he can barely think of something to say other than "Thank you for having me" and "We are almost at the inflection point." Sure, someday, if/when we get to the inflection point, he can say "I told you so!" but that doesn't mean he was the best or most efficient leader.
